In Ma Wenqi and Wang Qi’s interview with Luo Wei, the director of the intermission version of “Waiting for Godot”, we saw that director Luo Wei believes that in “Waiting for Godot”, only the balance of power is broken, and only power is changing. He felt that this was a deep metaphor in Mr. Beckett’s entire script. In the play, some people are waiting, some are tied up, and some are tied up by others. Is this world cute? Is this life situation worth it? This is the question that Luo Wei wants to raise, and perhaps this is also the question raised by Mr. Beckett.
