Abstract
Xiong Fuxi (1900—1968) is as famous as Tian Han, and is one of the pioneers and founders of Chinese drama. In the 1930s, the saying “South Tian Beixiong” was popular in academic circles: “If it is said that Tian Han is the authority in the southern theater circle, then Xiong is the master of the northern theater circle.
